Back by Popular Demand : Improve your Professional Image through Improv - Next Session starts May 1st, 2012.
Do you break out in a sweat when asked to give a presentation? Do you hate going to network events because you don't know anyone? Keep cool under pressure after boosting your confidence and your quick-thinking skills with improv classes for the professional at ComedySportz.
We'll get you up on your feet and outside your comfort zone while we work on communication skills like concentration, listening and being in the moment. You'll develop practical skills you can apply in almost any real-life situation.
This might just be the best thing you ever do for your career!
These classes are held at the ComedySportz Arena on four consecutive Tuesdays, 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Cost for this four-week course is $110. No prior improv experience is required to participate and you must be 18 years of age or older.
Our ten-week workshops teach skills, boost confidence, and will ultimately get you more friends. Each week we'll play different improv games, learn exercises in team-building, trust, spontaneity, scene-building, accepting and conquering fears - and have a lot of fun in the process. The final week is a show for your friends and family, starring you and your classmates. Show off what you have learned! Workshops meet two hours a week.
Level 1: Intro to ComedySportz

Have you ever seen a ComedySportz show and thought, “I could do that,” or “I wish I could do that?” Well, now’s your chance! Whether you want to become an improv performer or just want to have fun and learn to think on your feet, our Level 1 intro class is the perfect jumping off point. This 10-week course will take you through the basics of ComedySportz-style improv – spontaneity, team work, yes and, etc. The final week is a showcase for friends and family highlighting your newfound CSz skillz!
Level 2: Improv Fundamentals

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
No classes May 26 - Memorial Day
Now that you have the basics of ComedySportz under your belt, it’s time to delve deeper into improvisation with this Level 2 course. The basics of improvisation – who/what/where, listening, trust, etc. - are covered using more advanced CSz games and exercises. The final week is a showcase for friends and family.
Level 3: Advanced Scenework
Saturdays Next Session starts April 14th 2012
3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
No classes May 26 - Memorial Day
Advanced scene work and character work. The final week is a showcase for friends and family.
Ten-week classes are only $150! You must be 18 years of age or older. Classes are at our theater.
